Magnuson - Moss Act vs my anti theft device

I seen on an earlier post somebody mentioned the Magnuson Moss Act.
It is a US only law to protect consumers when they do certain modifications to their vehicles.
I had a Ravelco Anti Theft Device ( ravelco ) installed in my old car and it technically voided parts of my warranty but I figured if it keeps my car safe...factory "security system" sucked.
I wish we had such a law in Canada.
I asked my useless MP and they brushed me off.

so if you throw a rod they are going to void the warrenty because of an alarm, wtf?!?!

In the US you would only loose the warrenty on the alarm.
