Default freeze the nitrous bottle???

i went to fill up my nitrous bottle today and the guy is telling me he needs to have it overnight so he can freeze the nitrous bottle to really fill it up and have the full 10 lbs in it. ???? wha??? this is the only place within 50 miles of here that fills nitrous so i had no choice but give it to him, but that sounds a little wierd for me.

anyway, i had another question. what is the maximum shot i can use without worrying about anything if i have a fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. i think this was asked before and i did search, but man, there are a lot of freaking topics that had the word "nitrous" and "maximum shot"

The freeze fill is a common method. It allows 10 lbs to be filled at lower bottle pressures ensure a proper PSI level at operating temps.

Actually, it may be because they don't have a pump at all and the low pressure created by the freezing of the bottle will "pull" the nitrous into the bottle.

0-50 shot on stock Tib.
50-60 with upgraded fuel pump and regulator.
60-80 with above, clutch, and wider tires.
80< You'll need direct port because the nitrous won't distribute evenly in the manifold and kaboom.
100< Progressive controller to not shock the drivetrain upon activation.
~130< Upgraded internals, LSD, axles.

i used to always keep my bottle in my freezer the night before getting it refilled. my g/f hated it but i always found enough room in the freezer for it.:
