nitrous leak on the bottle

there is a brownish redish residue on the bottle. its a very slow leak form the bottle to the nipple. right in between where the white stops and the silver starts. does it need to be tightened? if so how do i do it w/out losing my newly filled bottle?

Take it back to the place that filled the bottle up immediately.. you do NOT want a leaky bottle in your car.

Take it to the place that does your fills and they will help you out.

well the bottle or nipple or whatever was bad, so they replaced my bottle under the NX warranty.
