Default nitrous with turbo?

okay, so i'm installing a turbo on my alpha pretty soon. what would happen with the nitrous? would i mount the nozzle in my intercooler piping so it still goes into the IM, or should i just get the intercooler sprayer to lower charge temps? but with the intercooler sprayer, would i actually feel the boost in power like i do injecting it into the IM?

you would want to mount it as close to the TB as possible. or keep your direct port kit (probably a better idea, when factoring in a BOV)

The I/C sprayer may be 'safer' but the major benefit will be if you are able to advance timing because of the cooler air, but the sprayer itself wont give you much of a seat-of-the-pants power increase at all. The sprayer generally works best if you have an inefficient i/c setup, like on the WRX/STI the intercooler is above the engine... heat rises... get the idea?

1 vote here for direct port. if you already have the kit use that. just watch your greedy little jet sizes or youll be investing in some brand new (probably forged this time) internals really quick.

well the direct port is what blew the beta. i guess i'll just hook it up to the alpha for right now and just not use it.

the nitrous kit didn't blow the motor mang, c'mon, you know that. improper tuning and setup did. unless you got gigglejuice happy... what is the smallest shot you can run w/ the direct kit?

i'd suggest (if possible) like a 35/50 shot and 5psi of boost. or if you can find motorcycle jets, a 20 shot...
