Using NOS with carbs

What type of shot could I use with a carb? I'm looking for a little 30 hp shot to use on the 1.6L SOHC pony motor. Would this be wet, dry? Where would I install it in the car? Under the carb venturis (bowl) or above it?

Usually for a carb you buy a spacer block that has a cross bar with holes in it rated for a specific power output. It goes under the carb. If there's not a nitrous spacer block available I would make one out of like 150mm aluminum plate and a 30 shot nitrous nozzle. You can do wet or dry, just add another for fuel if that's what you want. I don't know how it complicates things if you have a mechanical fuel pump...

For a 30 shot I would just make the plate myself and run dry with oversized carb jetting.

Hah I might wait until I put in the Rochester carb, that thing should well provide more than enough fuel. I'm also going to put in an AF gauge, since my new headder has a threaded hole in it anyways. I allready have a fuel PSI gauge (4 PSI YAYUH!) I could monitor it all with the NOS. In any case, it's just an idea if I am not satisfied with my mods and I can't afford an SC for whatever reason.
