Default Elantra 2002 automatic - question

I bought a dry kit off ebay recently and am getting ready to install it.

From the posts I've been reading there doesn't seem to be a consensus on wet vs. dry. Someone will say only wet will work, and then someone will immediately say they have dry working fine.

My question is, will it be safe to use a 50 shot or less on my stock engine with a dry system?

TOOK ME FOREVER...

Nitrous?! Your tranmission should be able to take the extra horsies beceause most trannies are meant to take a little abuse. Just don't over do it or you mite fry your engine and various other attached components.

You are going to gernade your engine with a dry kit. Those are setup to run on a car with a fuel return line. It has no way to add fuel with your returnless fuel system. You can either

A)Trade someone for a wet kit

or

B)Get some sort of engine managment that supports nitrous and can open up the fuel injectors more only when you are spraying.

Good luck.

Default explain

Can you explain why a returnless fuel system is a crippling feature?

Yes it reduces "fuel flow" because it isn't looping back into the gas tank, but it does keep the injectors pressurized. What is the problem?

Why are you being a smart@%? I'm not the ignorant one who bought the wrong kit, then asked questions.

I would like a definitive answer to the "returnless fuel system" myth.

Ignorance isn't too bad when you are looking for answers. But it is frustrating to be looking for answers and to get none.

Our fuel system will not support the dry nos system because it is unable to add enough fuel to keep the motor from detonating. NOS requires a lot of fuel and the duty cycle of the injectors can't go high enough with nos.

Default Dry no2

Hey Colin. Would that constitute the need for a more powerful fuel pump then?
