Default 1.8 pistons nos ???

ok guys well here goes i decided not to supercharge but go na with nos i wana use the 1.8 pistons in my 2.0 using the stock rods and crank i plan on using a new stock 2.0 head gasket , now im planning on running a 50-75 shot of nitrous would this be safe ? i know with a wet kit on a reg 2.0 bottom end a ton of ppl running a 75 shot of wet nos but i really wana know if the 1.8 pistons in a 2.0 bottom end will handle it

I honestly think your wasting your money installing 1.8 pistons if you are going to spray, unless you are trying to make the car faster off the bottle. If you plan to make it full bottle feed its much easier and a little safer to spray an 85shot and save 300ish bucks and a ton of labor.



If you are going to go through the trouble of tearing up the motor get some forged pistons made and do a direct 120 or higher

thanx for the info doc ive got a spare 1.8 engine laying around so i figured i would u those pistons with a new head gasket and new piston rings im jus wondering if that would be worth it for me ,if that would make more power with nos using those pistons and if those pistons would handle a 75 shot ?

You realize that the 1.8pistons with your stock rods will raise the compression? Just making sure you know.
