The clock should be correct and you can select your time zone in your UserCP

There was a problem with the search function and the old database.
This is being taken care of and so it is disabled for the time being.

In short, it looks like a two years old boy designed it.
I kind of agree with this. The old site may have had its problems but it was different from any other site out there. I loved the look of it and never knew it was going to change.

The new interface is nice and there are the same colors and logos, but I do miss the way the old site worked. I'm sure there are quite a few things that happened that explain why the powers that be did what they did, but I tend to agree with Jed, that the old site, however clunky it was to manage or however slow it could be, was much more resplendent.

I guess from this point that isn't much of a "Suggestion" more of a grievance, but I'm sure that most of you were sure that the changes would come with their fair share of murmurs from the users.

I like the forums. I see no real problem with it, I don't like the ads that are on the left of the screen. Put them on the top with this forum network thing.....

We all liked the old interface, that's for sure. You have ot understand that this board software is easy for the new admins to maintain because it is what they use throughout their network. They don't have to adapt to our interface for just one message board.

Sounds like you're saying "cheaper to maintain". And since "we need the google" then I would hafta say... 1+1=2

cheaper maintenance
+steady income
= better business forecast

better business forecast
+quotes that Rob sold the site
=new board for everyone so that one person could sell out

I know that's a harsh way of saying it, but, in all sincerity, (no malice intended,) isn't it the truth?

Wow, you honestly think I sold out? No thanks for the 5 years I supported the site myself and stuck with it huh? I'm ready to move on to other things, that's all it came down to.

That's a fair answer. Just wondering how much you supported things if you made sure you profited when you moved on?

Actually, I was saying that it seems that things seemed more "commercial" somehow. You could take that as a compliment if you wanted. It means that the "passion" you put into the board before was noticed.

Every Month i always look in the "Free Downloads" section on the front page of the site... and every time i look, NOTHING

You know.. it's not important, but having it there is teasing the SH*T out of me :P

So ya, it'd be cool if you could actually go and take random pictures, or have a hyundai art forum so that us graphic designers and photographers can have a place to post that junk(yes there are people on this forum that drive hyundais and have artistic capabilities , and that saves you guys the effort of having to hunt down photo's and videos etc.. and since it would all be sorted into a specific forum, it wont be too hard to copy and paste it directly to the downloads section

anywho, that's one idea

Another neat idea would be a few neat downloads like misc programs,
For instance, a power to weight ratio calculator, or rim size to tire size

etc.. random stuff

Those are a few of my ideas, and i think they'd be worth it

also, just thought of this

An option to recieve a PM when someone posts a comment in reply to your thread, this would be great for the For Sale section, as some of us may forget that we are actually selling something on here
