Still in Ohio... (Go Bucks! NC this year! Need to win it this time...)

Haven't been doing much with the car, just normal maintenance... been trekking to TN to see my fiance on the weekends, so I'm racking up the miles again... almost up to 200,000 miles (and another timing belt change)... 17 hours on the road per week doesn't leave much time for anything else with the job and keeping up with the house....

This forum died years ago..I still remember when posts were made every second and lots of helpful people answering questions. It's pretty sad that this forum is near it's end.

That was way back in the day. Its sad to see the huge diversification of the user base along the lines of model range, but I guess that's how it goes. The only totally integrated forum now is probably Hyper Australia.

It was a wild ride while it lasted though, and I'm really happy to have been a part of it all.

In this case, if it brought everyone back here, I'd be ok with everything revolving around you.

i found this site a couple years ago when i first got my lc from my parents. this site is the main reason i still have it because it showed me what can be done with my little go kart! i hate that i strayed away for a while but i hope that this site can be saved! oh and by the way i just ordered a strut bar for the go kart so i will be posting about that here soon! woohoo!! lol maybe if we drum up enough interest in the site it can rise to its former glory!!

I have only been on this site for about a year since I started researching about my LC. this is the only site that gave me motivation and pride in what I drive. this site has helped me with every question I have ever had about my car,and it still helps me to this day.

Tho I do wish there was more people. I know that driving a Hyundai is not like driving a regular car and you dont see them as often as you would see honda.
If we can just all forget about other sites for a while and remember what exactly put us in the hyundai sene the most comon answer would be the car.

My dream is to have hyundai modders band up like brothers regardless of the site, but just because all the cars are so alike that we know we have been through eachothers problems before.

the information on this site is and will always be valuable to me, but with transition to another site some things are lost. its like moving to a different house you always end up loosing something. THAT is why I will stay put on this site.

(lol now like a polatican)
one thing that might help this site is to clean up adds and definatly ad a shout box. another thing is to have the modderators of hyundai sites band together AND FORM THE HYUNDAI UNION!

Alot of members have made their way back over to HA, which is the oldest non model specific Hyundai forum out there, and 2nd largest after HP. If HP goes down, then HA will be the biggest, and I'll see what I can do about moving databases over to HA. I doubt that will ever happen and this place will stay no matter what (since its corporate owned now), but there are places on the net for people to go and get help if they dont get questions answered here. Thats the nice thing about the community. People will pony up and start things in order to help others in the same scene.

I think it really started to go downhill though when pretty much most of the OG Senior members started to get rid of their Hyundai's and buy other types of cars. At least a few of those OG people are still over on HA. *lol*
