This site won't be shut down because of the investment Vertical Scope made when they purchased it. The problem is that they're not really putting much effort into the running the site and keeping it going.

On a side note, a few of your old HP admins (myself, Rudy and mouse) might have a project coming up that would make you guys happy .

I used to come on here alot when I had my Accent (aka the Accident, don't ask) but I've been on NT ever since. But this forum really is down in post count since I first joined.

Seems like it's at least half as popular as some of the other boards, more than others, WAY less than NT. I know I poke around on a pretty frequent basis. There's a lot of good knowledge here, and it's been here a loooong time.

damn its been a long time, how's things going in michigan?

I guess i'm considered an og since i've been here since the beginning of hp and I still contribute as much as I possibly can, i've never been a post whore and hopefully never will be. I think my autocross testimonials are getting some good info to people that need a gateway into the sport and only have a hyundai to drive.

I don't know why I still drive hyundais but i've always tried to go against the grain just like many others that choose the odd ball car to modify and/or race.

i've really got back into it since I started autocrossing the x3, i'm considering putting a little more money into it on the offseason to see how she'll do in fsp since dave and gimp called it quits.

if hp.com starts to slack more and more i'd move to wherever everyone else goes. I've never contributed to hyundai aftermarket because i've always been here even back in the fx days.

I'm still here as well - we should just start a "Old school HP.COM Member Reunion" Thread.

still have the 03 Accent, still have the TURBO 1.5L Accent, and am now working on a 1.5L NA hillclimb beast of a '95 Accent.

I am the Jed equivelant except with Accents and not Ponys!

Im slowly pulling all the FAQ's and information from here to place over on Hyundai Aftermarket.org. Most people are & have made their way over there. I hate seeing this site go down the drain like it has. Seems like every day that I sign on, there's more and more spam, spyware, and banner ads all over the place. Its too bad it cant go back to how it was. I guess the next best thing is HA for now, which is actually older than HP. It has the last 10 years worth of knowledge on it. Alot of archived info from FxTreme, TSR, and original HA are on there.

I've been good, Michigan has been treating me well, minus the whole Blue LC curse. I've been thinking of picking up another Accent. The new ones are growing on me, but I'm also looking at the LC2s.
