o1 tib engine swap

if I buy this engine from an 01 automatic tib, and want to put it in my 01 manual tib, is there going to be any hassles or special tools needed?

Should be no prob,just reuse your tranny/flywheel.

thanks for your the info, since it's already out I'll probably tear it all apart, and put rebuild with new rods and pistons, get a new cam, etc,. On a separate issue though, I was boosting @ 8 lbs, and I was still leaking a bit around the valve cover. I want to push 14 lbs when I put it back together. do you do anything special. with your valve cover to keep it from leaking,???, or allowing oil into the spark plug wells?

never had my valve cover leak before? . you may have a crack in it somewhere?, make sure you use silicone on the rubber half moons (silicone all around each then install them first)) when installing the new gasket..since you must use silicone on the moons, make sure shes cleaned up good first., Plus new rubber grommets sourrounding the plugs will come with the kit if you buy a complete engine gasket kit..
