Default 01 tib has a small coolant leak in a weird place need help

My 01 tib sometimes drips coolant out of the little plastic neck right below the radiator cap what could that be?

Sounds as if the plastic radiator end tank could be cracked allowing fluid to leak out. It could also be due to a leaking radiator cap. Do you have any pictures of the leaking area?

That is a great question hopefully a member with specific experience with this radiator can chime in. Being that is has a hex head I would attempt to turn it out without putting too much stress to fracture the plastic. If it comes out some sealer on the threads should alleviate a small leak.

If it does not come out and the leaking persists a temporary fix using epoxy or a plastic weld such as JB. I have heard reasonable success using both. This is of course only temporary and a new radiator will likely be necessary at some point in the future.

Hopefully that was helpful.
