Clear corners on 2001 Tib

I was wondering if it's possible to take the orange piece out of the light instead of going out and buying a whole new set of lights. Thanks.

flat head, hammer, and a piece of bent flat metal
my friend did it and I got his.
it's dull but the NEW ones stand out TOO much so I'm not a big fan of that
