Default Shark Racings new carbon fiber hood for 2000-01 model...Q?

Wassup yall....almost sold my Tibby today but had a change of heart. I just need to get a lil more power outta it. I saw the new carbon fiber hood...Does anyone know the difference in weight between the CF and the stock? Does anyone have it on their ride and is it worth the cash....or would a new exhaust and CAI be a wiser investment..suggestions?aranoid:

And I test drove a Z28 today...yuk..them cars are ugly lookin inside..and wasnt that impressed with a car that has 310 hp....Think I'll keep and pay off the tibby heh

If you're test driving Z28's, I'd say you're better off spending the money on performance parts rather than getting the CF hood. My last car was a '97 T/A WS6, I miss the torque. If I could own 2 cars I'd get another one, but I need the Tib to promote this site.

Yeah...I like the looks of the hood, plus mine is gettin kinda marked up and marks from the florida sun baking bird crap ug. Havent looked in a while for the latest CAI....whats the best one going for the 01 tibby now...and you guys know of a decent brand exhaust that doesnt sound like a damn jar of bumble bees?

AEM for your cai, no doubt. Also take a look at your exhaust thread. I posted a reply in there about the best exhausts. MBRP cat back and KORE's stainless steel exhaust.
