Default k-spec site, high compression pistons, 6 spd tranny, and s/c?

i was on there, and it made me think is hp gonna carry high compression pistons. btw what is the compression on the k-spec pistons? also i've been thinking about a tranny swap? the 6 spd? will it work? i want high compression pistons, s/c, and a little nitrous! any suggestion? i know i'll need rods for this to work and proabally head bolts. anything else? oh yeah injectors!

hello,

let me tell you one thing for what i heard before.
6spd tranny swap is not transferrable...(well actually i take that back, nothing is impossible if you have the fortune to cover it)
but in korea, tuscani elisa's 6spd tranny is more expensive than the engine.
if you can find a good conditioned tranny from a junk yard or anything, it's cool.
but if you are thinking about buying a NEW 6spd, i recommend you to forget about it.
that is as far as i know and heard from Hyundai

i hope it helped.

the 6spd will also have different bolt up points to the enine since the GK Tib is running a V6 and your running a I4...VERY EXPENSIVE!

so you telling me the 5spd that bolts up the the gk v6 is different totally?? man i don't see how the 5 and 6 spd tranny's are the much different. they are both on the v6! maybe hyundai did something that unbleiveablely stupid, and drove up production costs. well hell i guess the only way to find out it to do it

I didn't think the V6 came with the 5 spd option. I thought it was only Shiftronic 4spd Auto and the 6spd? :??:
