Default question?

Hey guys I am new here but I have been reading the forums for a while and I said to my self if I am going to read this everyday, what the hell let me join. Ok enough of that, I have a question for all of you wtih tibbys. How come the AEM CAI its better than the Injen CAI if the dyno says that injen adds almost 2 hp more than the AEM, or why do you guys chose it over injen. Also wich exhaust out there will work better with the car. I apologize but probably will have more questions for you guys since I am fairly new in this upgrading car thing. peace out

I am not sure about the hp numbers, but most people choose the AEM over the Injen because it is a "true" CAI, unlike the Injen. I have the Injen and I love it. As for exhaust, I would go with either the KORE catback or the MBRP catback

Check the charts again. The peak power produced with the Injen was 2HP higher, but the baseline for that car was 1.8HP higher, so the Injen only made .2HP more and the AEM peaks a few hundred rpm sooner. The results are close enough as to be considered a tie. It just comes down to which you like better. AEM has been around a long time and I like their stuff.

Isn't the AEM also less expensive.
AEM 185-ish to 195-ish.
Injen i've seen sun 230-ish.
