Autobot will probably move this topic by the end of the day:bandit: but i had no idea where it should go. I am more on the "comfort :smoking:" of my ride rather than speed since i almost got thrown in jail and my insurance almost cancelled me for racing. What's the point of making a car fast if you cant speed right? Anyways, I have been asking around, sometime in the next year i am going to put my last two mods on my car, 1 or 3 screens (dash and headrests) and rims (see signature.) My only question is, which do you guys think i should do first, rims or screens. Any random person says "you got to make the outside of your car look nice, before you can pimp out the inside." However, the people who I am really good friends with all say "when you just "drive around" what will you get more use out of, screens or rims?" So im torn between two decisions, I know its my preferecne, but i have been a member of hp for over a year now, and all of your opinions really matter to me now

I'd get the rims and lower the car first, then go for finishing the I.C.E. Unless, of course, you're like me and drive long distances all the time (400+ miles) and need something to keep you awake.

well, im all about keeping my warrentee so i cant lower the car, or else hyundai would probably go nuts, and i go to texas tech, and am from houston, for you yankees, that is an 8 hour drive (600 miles) so yes, i do drive long distances

It really all depends on how much time you spend in your car and how much of that time could use on other thing than driving. Take me for example, I got myself all involved and eventually engaged to a model. She's great, but since we are 'bout 45 minutes of LA, I end up driving her to her castings, photo shoots, and whatever she needs to be in LA for. I spend a lot of time in my car... A LOT! To me it makes sense to just make the interior more accomidating (?) for me. I did just by some 17's but even if I hadn't I would recomend make yourself comfortable first then worry about the eyes and imaginations of everyone around you. So what if you got stock rims or some other goofy 15's. It doesn't really take that much away from the person checking out your ride. You already know your straight in terms of having a nice ride so knowing aside from that, that the inside of your ride is set up exclusively to your taste and preference, is kind of a good feeling to have. I've done some custom work on my console to make things to my preference and no other tibs I've seen have it. It's tight to know my ride is all set up for ME not the fool checkin it out, y'know...
If it were me... I'd put an in-dash, then rims, then worry about the headrests... the headrests aren't going to benefit YOU at all, just the people you are with. How often are you driving people around would determine whether or not you should get the headrests. I would say in-dash monitor then rims then headrests

i think head rest monitors in tiburons are pointless. look at our back seats! i rarely ever let anyone in my back seat. and NO ONE sits behind me. i will not move my seat up at all. i cant imaging having to have someone travel long distance in that small a$$ back seat.
The only warranty you'll void by lowering the car is the warranty on your springs and struts (both of which will get replaced at cost to you anyways)...
I'd go for the good I.C.E. setup since you have so long to drive. My 600 mile drive from Michigan to home in MD isnt exactly a short hop, i'm starting to really consider getting a DVD player head unit/ LCD screen.

True that being comfortable in your car is great, but also great is having heads turn to check out your car. I think rims would be a huge thing to add to the look of your car. You don't have to get anything really expensive and then maybe you could afford to do a little of both.
Also like someone else said about the warranty, hyundai isn't going to cover wear and tear anyways and you will eventually have to change the shocks and stuff. I went through the same thing for a couple of months not wanting to change anything but leaving it all stock just isn't as fun. Now I am addicted!!
