I'm actually doing this for my friend. He just got a 2000 or 2001 Tiburon with a stick. So far, all he could find by way of aftermarket is a generic CAI and a generic muffler. I want to know what are the best parts to buy and where to get them. Also, what would be a good plan of attack for mods (he said he wanted to be around 200 HP, so I know he's gonna spend some money). Ideas, anyone?

Well, intake and exhaust would be a good start off point. Go with the AEM cold air intake sold here, then a catback exhaust either from KORE or MBRP. Then he can either get GT cams, unorthodox pulley, big bore throttle body or turbo. Yeah, the last one is a bit expensive. Check out this site thoroughly, then look at:

It's going to be VERY VERY diffifcult, and expensive to reach 200hp N/A. Alpine makes a turbo kit for the 2.0 and Motiv is coming out with one in the near future as well.

Go take a look at the store: shop.hyundaiperformance.com to find all your Mod needs. We got the AEM intakes and some transmission parts to help improve HP and response time.
Well 200 HP N/A would be extremely difficult. 170 HPish maybe. For what it would cost you to get 200 HP n/a U could probably perches a Turbo setup and get a lot more HP.
Run a search and look through the fourms, you and your friend will find LOTS of information on this site.
Good Luck...
