Default Unplug rev limiter?

I heard from Autobot, that you can unplug that rev limiter, could someone explain how?
Autobot?
Yeah and what are the risks, and if done how high could I rev "safely"

try emailing him at kirk@hyundaiperformance.com and he could probally tell you. i wouldn't do it.

But I kind of agree, cuz I really dont feel the engine has much power over 6grand.

well it is put there for a reason. the reson being so you can't rev past 6700. there really isn't a need to go past 6300

well if max power is at 5800 revs then theres no point takin it beyond that
cos you could be going faster in another gear!!!!

of course your max power RPM depends very much on your engine and
its tuning.

I am not sure on how to do it, Lantra is probably one of the only people to do it that I know of.

I never did it because I never saw a need to go over 125mph and I kind of liked having a limiter that stopped me from blowing my engine.:hmmm:

There is a replacement for displacement. It is on 2 wheels and 600cc.
