I have a 97 Tiburon FX. I've done a few mods to it, but my question is about the flat spot during acceleration. When I give it off the line there is a flat spot in power between 0-15 mph, then once it hits 4,500-5,000 rpm it takes right off. Could someone tell me what I could do to improve this or better yet get rid of it, where to get the part(s) and how much it might cost.

Keeping in mind that I'm dumb <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>, I believe you are somewhat refering to your powerband. Random can explain this much better than I. Basically, your powerband is where you get your optimal acceleration. On my 98 FX I've noticed it being between 2200 and 4800. I'm sure there is a technical way of figuring it out, or it's out there somewhere.

Sounds to me just like he wants more low end torque. If you look at a dyno graph the engine maybe makes 80-90 HP at low RPM's, and finally gets to it's peak, 123 or 125 HP or whatever (WHP) when you hit 6,000 RPM.
You will always have less power at low rpms, but a CAI and BBTB will help a lot with throttle response at low RPM's.
BBTB and port and polish heads, and bored intake manifold will help

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.

I have felt this also, it's bogging.....
It happens when I put the acelorator to the floor.My solution to this is to keep it in first untill the revs are up,then shift to second,(hard to explain ) this seems to help the bogging. Are you an auto on man trans?
If you are auto try an high performance tourque converter(stall speed is increased)
This will help launch your car off the line.
