CAI Bypass valve - Hyundai Performance Forums

I was thinking of getting a CAI from Kore. Do you really need the bypass valve and how much hp can I expect to gain?

the onlt time you need the bypass valve is if you take your car scuba diving, otherwise no. true actual hp gains are usually 3-5 hp.

You don't "need" the bypass, but having one will make you a hell of a lot more confident when you go puddle jumping in the rain with your shark!

Leave it to Random to Needlessly complicate things.
