Is it bad? I had a friend last night drive my car, and he bounced the rev limiter twice before shifting into second gear. While it sounded cool and all, I was afraid if done too ofter, that it might fuck up something. So, should I be paranoid about doing this or is it ok to bounce it??
Just don't run it that high all of the time, as long as you do it in moderation, it shouldn't hurt your engine too much, but that's what the 10 year warranty is there for...
My 10 year warrenty only lasted me 3 years, but that's a different story!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Well I know that in 2nd gear, max speed is 100km/h <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Bounced off that once,... made me wonder why the car was bogging down,... then I realized,... OH! Shift You Idiot!

But yeah, the rev limiter is there for a reason, and if you bounce off it it's ok, just don't make it a habit!
anyone know how to remove the limiter???<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> hell, even where its located would be good, it's not in hyundai webtech
