The top-of-the-line 2003 Tiburon will be available with Hyundai's all-aluminum 2.7 litre DOHC 24 valve V6 engine that's currently used in the Santa Fe sport-utility vehicle. It will develop 181 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 177 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm (the same as the current Santa Fe), but will have different gear ratios, according to Hyundai.

Different gear ratios cause it has an extra gear <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>.

I've heard we'll have even more hp when it hits the US.
