My 2001 Tiburon has 2,500 miles. There is a slight vibration in the passenger compartment when i accelerate. Anybody know what this might be?
Thanks,

Can't really tell without being there.
Take it to the dealer. It is probably nothing to worry about mine vibrated a little but they seemed to work themselves out. Until then just turn the radio up. LOL
Mine hasn't shaken yet but it makes this little buzzing sound when the odometer hits 45 and 75 mhp on the dot. Don't know what it is but putting the volume up the radio does help. lol!!!
I feed my Shark honda's for breakfast!!

I located the location of the vibration. When I open my sun-roof, there is a metal, spring-loaded strip at the front of the opening. If I put my fingers on it while it's vibrating, the sound stops. Any suggestions?

Good news & bad news.... I finally located the source of the RATTLE. It's in the felt liner that surrounds the openong around the sunroof in the front. It appears it should be glued down, but is not. When the car is moving, the wind makes the felt liner vibrate.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Fred

Yes, I'm under warranty. I will be taking it to the dealer for my 3.000 mi check-up next week. I just wanted to locate the problem, b-cuz the dealer told me I was imagining it.
Thanks for all of your responses.

I had a similar problem.. its not supposed to be glued down, but rather snapped into the sunroof via little 'christmas tree' snaps. If you pull down on it a bit and peek in, I bet you'll see that some of them are not snapped in. Try applying pressure underneath the felt to get them to pop in.. worked like a charm for me. However, since they came loose once, they may again. You might want to get the dealer to pull the whole liner off and do something to snug up the fit.
