Default Spare Tire well - what will fit?

I was wondering if there was any extra room to fit the stock wheel/tire as the spare, or maybe if I could go with a slightly larger circumfrence wheel/tire (17" 215/40). and also, does anyone know what size the spare tire is? I don't have my car up here on campus with me right now, it's 170 miles away at my house, otherwise I'd go look myself.

not sure what size you could fit in but i know that on the bottom boards of the boot there is pretty thick foam so that could be cut down to fit a larger wheel and stock size on my 98 tib is 205/50/15

hope this helps mate

He means how big is the spare tire. Even though when we were in the chat most agreed it should be the same size as stock (cuz t would be weird if it was smaller...think about it) but no one really knew for sure.

Just rip out the foam and put it the stock as your spare it fits but will not be flush with the well so when you put the cover down it will have a slight curve to it

I got someone to tell me that the spare tire says
" T125/70/15 "

Any confirmations? All I really wanna know is... will the stock wheel fit in the spare tire wheel well?
