Default ECT switch

I don't know if the 2nd gen Tibbys have this switch, but the 1st gen Tibbys do. Anyway, on the switch it says power or normal. Now I've pushed this switch many times and nothing happens. Are you suppose to feel or see anything happen<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle> Maybe mine is broke.

I believe all that switch does is tells the auto tranny to rev about 500RPM higher before shifting.

Thats exactly what it does, it just shifts at a higher rpm. so you would feel the engine ride the gear out further.

Yeh it lets the tranny stay in lower gears longer, for climbing hills or just for a powerful drive.I Usually have it on.
