would these gear ratios be good?

hi, i dont know anything about gear ratios, i did a search on the stock gear ratios for a 97 tibi, and then i came across a website that are selling these gear ratios:

Sports Closed Gear
(2.929/2.053/1.538/1.241/1.031)
and stock are:
Gear ratio
(3.462/1.950/1.393/1.061/0.878)

since i dont know about gear ratios, what kind of differrence would i be looking at? faster accel or top speed? or what? uzzled: thanks

I would think both faster accel and top speed. If you look at the 5th gear gear-ratio, it is not an overdrive gear like the one on the stock tranny. But who knows, 1st is also shorter....
