I have some pictures of it that I took personally, but I can't post them until it's released in Korea .

i know this is not going to make people very happy but you have to realise the 2002 (tiburon) will not be the best money you could spent on a sportcompact car now with the sentra se-R spec V and the SVT focus NS the ACURA RSX type s (wich i drove yesterday and it kick ass.) and i dont like honda all that much but thie are going to be better cars out thier fore the money. even if your looking at a 200hp tiburon its it will proby be just as fast and GT eclips or mustange V6 the sentra and RSX will have aftermarket support. i love my 99 tiburon but at its time it was the best 14grand you could spend. now its not buy used. i won't get one with any thing less that 240hp or a 0 to 60 times in the mid the low six second range. that what i have to say

oh well then I see Dirt Driver spending close to 30k for his next car...

Here's the way I see it, for the first time we will all be starting from the beginning, and the aftermarket support will almost come out at the same time, as far as KORE Motorsports is concerned, we're already in plans and anxiously waiting the release of it... WWOOOOOHHHOOOOOO

Plus most of us in here, love our Hyundais, so no matter what's out there, we will stay true to them...

Anyone have any clue how much the V6 one will cost? I imagine it'll still stay around $16k, which at 200hp will still make it the fastest car for the money .

I imagine even just a CAI on that puppy will put most cars to shame! (unless the V6 option adds a ton of weight, hopefully not)

The best info to date has given the Gk between 200-215hp. It has been estimated to base around $17,000 which still makes it the best one of the best values you can get on a sport coupe in its class. I also don't know of a car on the market with a 6spd trans that is under $20,000. And with the money you save cause you didn't buy the Acura RSX you will be able to add a lot of mods. As far as aftermarket stuff. Like Batlord said KORE will be there and also after this year you will start to see a lot more support for Hyundai so don't worry about it.

You will have the choice between a V6 and an I4. I have even heard rummors that tere will be two coices for the I4, 2.0ltr and a 1.6ltr. I do not know if the this is true or not. The I4 you will not be able to get a 6spd transmission put in it only a 5spd.

I was just wondering.. is it really called the Tiburon? Because Tiburon means 'Shark' in Spanish (duh, like you guys don't know..) yet the 2002 looks nothing like a shark, unlike previous models.

I've heard the 'GK', and '2002 Tiburon'. Which one, if any, will it be called officially?
