Default F2 Evo Parts

Is it possible to get the front air dam and rear wing for the F2 Evo to put on an 1st Gens here in the US? I read on the 'UK Hyundai Coupe Site' that this was a limited production car in Europe.....

Sourcing the parts is the difficult part Hyundai UK will not supply them unless you can produce an F2 Evo chassis number.

Yeah...what squire said. You won't even come anywhere close to getting Evo parts unless you can produce a VALID vin number. I had an Evo vin number like last summer, but I don' tknow what I did with it. :disappointed: It's saved on one of my disc's at home somewhere. However, if you can find a junked Evo Tib at a junkyard, you might be able to score some things. But good luck trying to do that. F2 Evo Tibs are pretty hard to come by. :sleepy:

Hyundai contracted MSD in the UK, the same people who make the WRC Accent, to make 1500 of them, however they weren't selling so hyundai told them to stop at 1000 so there aren't many of them arround.

I can't imagine why they didn't sell. If I had the opportunity to own an F2, I sure as hell would. Just for the sole reason of them being so damn freaking rare. X)

I know what you mean, now they are really sought after. In some parts of the UK they are rare as rocking horse s*@t, because of this they are really holding their value. That said Hyundai were muppets when it came to performance. All they did was put elantra cams in the engine nothing else was changed. MSD tried to take resonator off but HUK told them to put it back on.

Yeah..but it has some different exterior and interior goodies to it. Different rims, and so on. The cam's are not the only difference to it. : Still though...I would own one in a heartbeat.

I meant cams were the only performance changes. The exterior was was designed by the chap who did the Maclaren F1. Dunno about the inside I haven't really looked that close.

I have the rims on my gen2. Had a contact who sourced me some. I think they were made by ATH, don't quote me on that though.
