Default questions and answers to tuning.

I have a 2001 hyundai tiburon.I have installed a header, front and rear strut tower brace, hks super drager exhaust, eibach lowering springs, a k@n filter and 16inch fmr rims. I just purchased the big bore throttle body and short throw shifter. My question is with the header removing the 1st cat, and the k@n filter and rear section exhaust flowing the engine much easier will the big bore throttle body run okay or should I return it? also for anyone who has purchased a header you need to modify your O2 sensors. I cut and spliced the O2 wires and had an O2 sensor nut welded onto the exhaust after the 2nd cat under the car so that the computer will still get a good before and after O2 sensor reading so that the check engine light will not come on.You will need to purchase special wiring, you need nickle plated wiring for super high resistence to give the computer acurate readinds. you can find it at heating and air conditioning shops, they use it for thermostats, to get perfect readings.

Default Re: questions and answers to tuning.

I am not exactly sure I understand the question. Did you remove the 1st cat and your k&n air filter? Please tell me your air filter is still on the car.

Or did you just remove the 1st cat? If so I think you should be fine. In fact if you have a supercharger you would probably be ok removing both cats. I am not sure about both maybe someone that knows for sure can let us know.
Also check your local laws about removing cats. Do you have vehicle inspections where you live?
