im not sure if anyone else had had this problem but i am dropping a lot of money on these headlights. they are continuously blowing and then sometimes coming back on. i am having a lot of problems with them, has anyone else had this type of problem before. they are the xenon eurolights h7's. i am thinking of writing toucan industries and telling them about the troubles i am having, good or bad idea???uzzled:
Well I had the problem but they never came back on. There was a little corrossion on my wires and that caused a short. Sounds like you just have a bad connection. Try if you still have the warranty left if the dealler will do anythng. If not check your wiring for lose connections.

It's a known fact that xenon and "hyperwhite" bulbs never last. I did find that globbing dielectric grease (like $1.00 at any auto parts store) on the bulb harness helped alot. Made the bulbs last a month or two longer, and stopped them from melting and frying the harness like before.
dont touch the bulb with bare hands. the oil on your fingers messes with the bulb and they blow VERY fast. i have halogens on my car both low and high beam and niehter have blown and ive had them since april.

greenshark is right. you cannot touch the bulb. you have to be very careful or wear gloves.

Just like theatrical lighting. They all come with a piece of foam to use to install the lamp, as ANY oil off of your skin will cause a distortion in the glass once the lamp heats up enough - very very common with halogen lamps.
And these distortions end up warping and killing the bulb, in turn making cool looking multi-coloured glass sculptures.
the best advice to all your woes is to get tru HID.....believe me...it may sound like a lot of money but if you save enough, in the end it will pay off...better visablity, no bulbs burning out and just pure satisfaction.
