see, I found you can fit a bigger tire on if your pussy drive. OR rather those with 19s and a big body kit who cant really go fast anyway.
But people who drive agressively will find out they get rubbing on hard turns when chassis lean is at its max and the steering is locked.

well my car is lowered 1.8 inches ... and lets say i have 215/40/17 tires ... wut offset would i need on my rims to fit?
or should i not even bother and just get 205's?
It'll fit but you can only drive straight and not turn, cause the tires will rub like everywhere. (OK seriously, it'll probably fit, but it'll kill much of your acceleration).

I have 2nd gen tib... stock suspension. I have 215/40/17 and I'm perfectly fine. I dunno what the offset is on my wheels (Katana Racing K-6) but I know they fit, and never rub. If lowered about 2"... eh, it might... doesn't dweet have 17's? Maybe he could answer
Shannon (red VS tib) has 225/35/18 tires and lowered with Eibach Ground Control coilovers (not sure how much). She said when someone is in the back seat, it rubs a little bit in the rear. http://members.cardomain.com/veilsidetiburon
