Well Im about to purchase my 1st car which is a Tiburon but i want to customize it only problem is I haven no idea what Im doing or what I have to get, Im looking for alittle help. I need recommendations of what to put in and raesons why so far I know I want a veilside body kit, an above average audio setup, HID kit, Turbo charger, a good exhaust system, and a cold air intake. Is there any other parts im forgetting, mayb suspension parts, engine parts or anything...help
unless you have a bottomless pocket, you have to find out what you want to do first.
Do you want to look good or go fast first?
Veilside body kit - $1800 (you'll regret buying ebay ripoff's)
Turbo - $2800
HID Kit - $400
Audio Setup - could get up to $1000 easily
not many people have $6,500 to throw into their first $18,000 car
IF you want performance/speed... you need to get a manual. If you're getting the 2003, do your research. I've heard the V6 isn't very good for doing performance upgrades, but then again, I don't have an 03.
About how much are you going to be able to spend per year on your car? What do you want first? Speed or Looks?

Ok Ive pretty much decided Id rather work on the looks and then the speed, heres my list of to get things so far
*Veilside Body Kit (or similar looking kit)
*Andrew F Racing rims
*Decent Audio System
*Air Filter
*Euro Tail lights
*HID conversion kit
*Exhaust System
*Cold Air Intake
*m3 side mirrors
And that should b about it, Im just wondering now about the kit...Why is ebay so bad to buy it from and is fiberglass really that bad (cracking easily when hit maybe by a speedbump or pothole) and does that Veilside come in Urethane or Fiberglass because when I searched no one mentions the material?
the molds these kits come off of are poor quality... sideskirts arent long enough, bumpers dont line up right etc.... you'll save money by buying a cheaper kit but you'll pay ALOT more to get it installed and painted
