B&M Trouble...

Ok so i just picked up a B&M short throw for my 2K1 tibby. I got part # 45119, the one speciffically for the 2K1 tiburon and elantra. When I took it out of the package and looked at it, i knew it wasnt going to fit. The new shifter has a ball with 2 arms comming out at 90 degrees from each other. My factory shifter looks more like a fork. I hope someone can help me out. If someone else has had this problem let me know what you did. Peaceuzzled:

I think they switched the shifter design sometime in 2001 so you may have the 1997-2001 design.

I think you may have to return it or sell it and get the # 45115 model.

I think someone will come along and confirm this for you.

HP.com shop has them listed as 1997-2001 and 2000-2001.

the 2001 model has two different shifter. That happened to me when I bought mine you want the 45115.
