Default lowering car

okay i want to lower my car next and was wondering
do i need to get exactly tiburon lowering springs or are there like lwering springs for like another car like hondas or something that will fit too

i'm lookin into the Sharkracing Lowering srpings......or ground control coilovers.....or aerospeed coilovers (it says only for 98 and up, but 98 tib is basically just like mine)

they make some for your car so buy the right ones i got mine off ebay for $100 what you will need is your basic socket set and a air gun if you have never done this before don't try it unless you have someone who knows what they are doing to help you out, you can screw up your alignment if not done correctly and plus you will need help doing it this something you can't do by your self

you also need a SPRING COMPRESSOR, a $20 investment from autozone.



Hey tibbyguy I am sure you got the springtech springs? How do they feel I was looking at those.

feels good lol i'm used to having a lowered car so a lil bump here and there i could care less and the drop was nice i have pics in the showroom and in my profile

....how much of a drop did u get?..i know a guy who just lowered his celica with some springs he got off ebay for $100....do they have adjustable coilovers on ebay too?

it said 1.75" and i'd say thats about right they have coilovers on ebay

oh ya mine are sprint sorry its prolly the same company though

I have APEX springs on mine and I love em!

You just need jack/stands, good socket wrench, sockets, wheel wrench, spring compressor (which can be rented from Auto Zone for free{sorta}) and time...

it's pretty easy to do, just make sure you get it all together correctly and drive for about 500 miles then get your alignment done
