Did you use the manual starter, cause the auto one wont work. Is there any noise coming from the fuse box when you try to turn it over. A little clicking noise should be coming from the starter relay. No Juice??? Of course you can check the battery especially if its been sitting on the ground draining its power. Did you get it to shift yet? cause if not you gotta break it back open and release the clutch bearing with that special tool, these guys will tell you whats up. But no power, sounds like your missing fuses, You get no interior lights power or anything or what, be as descriptive as possible.

Well then sounds like you just missed a major ground. So trace all the wires to find the ground points, seriously though, put up a post about the shifting in the help section. Do a BUNCH of searches and find all the info on the swaps that we've done on the tibbies. Then seriously, I hate to say this, but your gonna have to pull the tranny again anyway, so don't even worry about taking this to work tomorrow. OH YEAH, and do you have a REV A. If you do that might be your prob. To check just pop the hood, look at the strut mounts on the drivers side, if they are all bulged up then you gotta LEMON, (REV A) dont worry I have two of em. if the mount looks EXACTLY the same as on the passenger side then your fine. But did you do a direct swap, engine and tranny out, then new engine new tranny in in one piece? Thats what I did

GOOD NEWS---- i have interior lights now with a door dinger and power windows and locks..... and i can hear the clicking noise when i try starting the car but now for the bad news....

BAD NEWS---- The car will not start... i do believe that it has something to do with the ignition becuase everything else seems to work but i mean it doesnt even start to turn over or anything so i believe that there is some wiring that needs to be done... can anybody please help me with the wiring that they did when they swapped trannys from an auto to a manual... any help is appreciated because i need a car tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Do you hear clicking from the fuse box, just listen carfully or turn the key with one arm through the window, while you by the box. If the relay is clicking then you should be starting, or the starter may be bad, but I doubt it, is it old and used??? DUDE can you shift the thing though, It wont matter if you get it started if you can drive it, right.

***GREAT ADVICE****

Find a ride to work tomorrow, you are seriously gonna have to take the transmission off again, NO FUN AT ALL, then you can do the work I'm talking about and release the clutch bearing from the pressure plate, it has a certain way of going in. BUT DO YOU HAVE A REV A. AND DID YOU DROP IN AN ENGINE AND TRANNY ALREADY TOGETHER?

Dude the wiring is just from the battery basically to the big ass ground spot under the coil pack, then it just connects to the starter. hehe, are you pressing the clutch in first, sorry I just had to ask:dead:

Yes i do have a REV A model.... and the engine and tranny were already together yes they came from a salvage yard near me.... yeah i am pressing the clutch in but you have to re-wire the interior of your car dealing with the ignition dont you??? and the reason that i want to make sure that it starts even before it shifts is to make sure that it is going to start after i have the clutch bearing and the pressure plate fixed... do you know what i mean....
