2 Questions 1. Weird Stutter 2. Have to rev when engine is cold
Since I have been putting mods on my car I have noticed two things....
1. Weird Stutter:
Anytime I pull out and my rpms are below like 2500 my car stutters, and I dont mean the normal "manual transimission I'm not giving it enough gas drag" I mean its like I am not getting enough fuel, air, or sumthing. I think it may be back pressure, but not sure. When I put my silencer in, it dramatically reduced the occurance. (but someone has now stolen my silencer, so...) This problem is not a major concern to me as far as daily driving, I have adjusted to it, and it no longer is a major driving issue, but I am afraid of any long term damage if any that may occur.
2. Have to rev when engine has been off for several hours.
Anytime I get into my car, and start it up when it has been sitting for a while, I have to rev it up inorder to get it to go. It will fall straight on its face if i dont. After that, the car runs fine except for the above problem. Both problems are liveable, but annoying.
Mods: obx cai, kore exhaust, magnacore wires.
So any input would be awesome.

Mine did the same thing, it's a standard though. When it was cold I would give it gas let the clutch out, and it would just kinda shudder and have no power for a couple seconds, then it would go normally. It also lost power at around 3800RPMS. six trips to the dealer, new plugs, and wires under warrenty. they said there was nothing wrong with it. I finally called hyundai of america, and they sent my dealer a nice little complaint fax. I brought it in one afternoon, they let it sit overnight, hooked their computer up to it, started it, and found my bad throttle position sensor. since then I haven't had any problems.

I have the same exact studdering problem in mine. It does it probably about 2/3's of the time. It really bothers me, but its not like a huge problem. Just wish I knew how to fix it.

Yep, TPS.
I had exactly the same thing, at around 2800-3000 rev while cruising, it would stutter, almost like it was missfiring...Changed plugs and wires, No Joy. Got a new TPS via warranty, and problem fixed immediatly....

Thanks for all the feed-back (minus solo baric). Do you think hyundai will give me hell over the mods I have installed (exhaust, cai). should I put it back to stock? Because throttle posistion sensor problem would explain this...
