Default What grade motor Oil

Since I don't have a manual.. what grade motor oil 5w30 right? for a 1999 Tiburon? I use Castrol SYntec

AND HOW MANY QUARTS!!!!! 4.5 RIGHT?

yes 5w-30 should be fine. 4.5 quarts is correct if you are replacing the filter.

4.5 quarts will overfill. use about 4 just check it on your dipstick to see the amount you will need to add

one time i raced a snail with my Tib. he took me off the line but once i caught traction i accidentally ran him over while attempting to pass. i won by default, but since i was obviously catching him to be able to run him over i figured that i would have won anyway.

i second the 4 quarts with filter change. I use castol syntec semi-blend, the guru's on here say full synthetic isnt as good as semi for our cars

FVCK MAN. I changed my oil today and I'm lucky i only but 4 quarts in.. i would of put 4.5.. dam. I put 5w30 castrol sytec.

its 4 litres, with filter change on tha 2.0
Accents 3.5
XG - 4.5
Sonota 4 cyl - 4.0, v6 - 4.3 as well as the Sante Fe V6
Elantra same as tib (4 cyl) 4.0 litres

All these are with the filter change, and all Hyundai motors use the same size filter.

Litres? Litres? We are in the US and I got a C average in math.. how man litres in a Quart? do you mean 4 quarts? 4 litres? I don't know i'm stupid.

I use 10W 30 for my 97 manual tib. It's Mobil Synthetic green top. Is that not good?

I think 10w30 is a all around oil for the tib. 5w30 and 10w30 is good.

i use 10w-30....and yeah only 4 quarts that's all i ever use....and i always change the oil filer
