I have a 2001 Tiburon. Any recommendations on which brand of cold air intake is easiest to mount, quality, which ones to avoid? Same question for performance chips: easy install and remove, effectiveness, recommended brands, problems. Thanks, Victor.
aem is a good intake, well it better be, i just ordered one from here! aos is nice too. but avoid injen at all cost, can we say "rip off"? i hear of weapon R being a bad choice so itd steer clear.
a company called powerchip group programs chips for a lot of cars. the beta I just so happens to be one of them. i went ahead and took the liberty of setting u up with the page of info. 140hp-156hp, 133 lb-ft. torque-148lb-ft. torque... 340 US dollars.
thats if u use the 93 octane chip. they offer a 91 octane chip but with less gains for u gas conscious people.
hope i helped

I'm sure hyundai didn't do this for the fact that you would have to use higher octane gas. Also, it probably doesn't do much for gas mileage, which is a higher priority for auto makers.
the injen is a very good intake, i dont know what you are talking about. and it is easy to install it doesnt cost any more than the aem and it looks better and is easier to install.
