Default mods for NA/Turbo

ok this is my question. First of all my 2001 Tib is N/A, i am considering on going turbo but am not sure yet. I am wandering what mods i could do to my car that will increase performance on an N/A engine, but at the same time would not be replaced if i did decide to go turbo. I do understand that such mods as headers and other basics will be replaced. THanks guys

well... a bored TB and bored IM wouldnt, if you get a 3" exhaust which is kind of big for NA wouldnt get replaced, stage 3 clutch, lightweight flywheel, if you have a manual tranny and lightweight pulleys, performance wires and plugs.. thats probably it.. i think youd have to get different cams and compression pistons switching from NA to FI.

yes that will work for you if you plan on using that for your fuel management on your turbo set-up otherwise just use the piggyback that comes with a turbo kit if your getting one. a standalone would be great!!!

one time i raced a snail with my Tib. he took me off the line but once i caught traction i accidentally ran him over while attempting to pass. i won by default, but since i was obviously catching him to be able to run him over i figured that i would have won anyway.

S-AFC2 is good to a point because it has limited points to plot on the fuel map and cant control ignition timing.. a better choice would be an SMT-5 or SMT-6 because it has more points to plot on the map and can control ignition timing

its not a chip its a programmable unit that can modify your ECU signals. it is programmed via laptop and has a LOT of tunability in A/F ratio and ignition timing.

yes it is well worth it N/A or F/I
