has anyone here installed one of these in thier tib. I was looking at them to help me at the dragstrip and wanted to see if anyone else has tried one

one time i raced a snail with my Tib. he took me off the line but once i caught traction i accidentally ran him over while attempting to pass. i won by default, but since i was obviously catching him to be able to run him over i figured that i would have won anyway.

feeling seems to be phantom grip is an econo lsd which uses the existing diiferential which is good up to about 220 hp, beyond which you want an upscale lsd which includes a beefier differential. see Reds posts here:

Opinions vary, so here's mine:

If you're going to do basic bolt-ons, like CAI, cat-back, and header, you should be fine with a PG. If you're going to go forced induction or use nitrous, I'd go with either a Quaife or Kaaz LSD.
