Default 97 tiburon headlights

ok i have a 97 tiburon and the headlights have gotten that moisture fog do them...and so do my fog lights...i was wondering if there was a way to take the head light lens off the casing to clean/pain the housing?...

i saw some guy who did it to his civic headlights so he could paint the casing black (lookd nice as hell). he said he just put his in the oven till it he could pull it apart...another guy told me to put gloves on and put it in boiling water till they pull apart?....any ideas guys?

I'd say go for the boiling water. Just make sure to wear thick gloves so you can keep the lights under the water for a while.

Yeah the boiled water should do.

Not really on-topic here but does anyone know where to get hold of clear-crystal headlights for the 97 tib (no rice please, rice being any space-looking deep blue headlights etc.)?

yeah you can try boiling water but i dunno if it might damage the lense.

i have the kspec headlights with glass housing. you could always buy the korean spec ones and take off the cover and just replace them on the us ones.

only reason i say replace is the korean spec ones use different bulbs and have a different shine pattern.

they look just like the us spec lights. only difference is the bulbs, light pattern, cover, and they incl little like city lights. no difference in appearance except it looks cleaner because it doesnt get foggy at all. check out my website and look at mine. you'll notice no difference but they are korea spec headlights.
