Default Turbo void Warranty?

would putting a turbo charger in a 2001 tiburon void the warranty? thanks

not to seem mean....but honestly think about it :-p unless it is a hyundai turbo and installed by them then yeah your whole engine and tranny warranty would be void

thats what i figured, it sucks too because i dont wanna lose that warranty because transmissions are expensive!

A transmission will run you between $500 and $1000 from a junkyard. Expect to spend another $300 to $800 to have it removed/installed.

Just about any car modification is going to void the warranty of some part. Some dealers are nicer that others when it comes to modifications. Find out how cool or mean your dealer is before messing with your car.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

My dealer is real cool...he installs my mods for me! He put on my HVE intake yesterday...and said let him know when I want to do my short shifter and lowering springs...ect...they don't care...because warranty work is free money to them.

Make sure still cause there are alot less things that can go wrong with a CAI, Springs and a short shifter. Don't just assume that they will be cool with a Turbo too.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Seriously, how hard is it to install a CAI. I can understand the short shifter and springs tho.
