Default MOVED: turbo...turbo....turbo

1.8L custon turbo .......2.0L custom turbo?......4g63 ?.......(sr20 will probbly be out of $ range in the time i want done)

i am going to attempt to start my turbo quest....as in start saving up massive amounts of money...hopefully...

how many people have 1.8L turbos?.....can the engine handle the boost like the 2.0L can?

....price range of 4g63 swaps?.....

...i was talking to some people and thinking about a t25 turbo setup on the 1.8L could be nice....

....i've got people willing to help me and make my baby what it needs to be....

the search for info is on....hopefully to be done by my senior year of college (freshman now)

actually the 1.8L is better to turbo than the 2.0L
the 1.8 has a shorter stroke which means that you can raise the rpm's a little more.
you know, if i were you, while i saved money, i would search this forum and ha.com
just soak up everything that's information on how to build a killer engine and follow with that.
sr20? c'mon man, that's crap...what are you doing replacing a perfectly good potent engine? g4gf is not a bad platform to boost with. just because all your friends have hondas and nissans that they fix up and talk about doesn't mean they have crap dude.
for instance, go to clubsi.com...look at some of the dynographs those pukes have. NO FREAKING TQ.
the alpine kit isn't too bad, at 13psi, there's a guy with 228hp and 237tq. MORE TQ THAN HP. from a TWO LITER. that's impressive.

im gonna get off my soapbox now but trust me, even if you swap the sr20, you'll have the same problems we all have when we boost. tranny, axles, internals, and fuel.
its a fact of life when you boost, get over it and use the g4gf u got to good use.

peace.
