Default Anyone running the XG brake upgrade on our cars?

The one Shark Racing advertises with the 12" rotors and XG calipers? Is it a huge improvement or better off spending the money elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

i have em, and yes you will notice the stopping power very easily. the problem is the brake dust if ya have white wheels, (like me):??: i'm satisfied with em. and for a full caliper setup, it ain't a bad price (or ya could probably get em off a wrecked xg, if you could find one:evil:

The "new" rotors are teh 12" units. The old ones are 10.9" units. Anyone who has the "old" SR BBK has the 10.9" units. Only the units sold in the last 2-3 months are the 12" units.

Do the new XGs come with 12" rotors or is this just an upgrade made by SR? I might want to piece this kit together if at all possible. These will be in a street driven car, anyone think its worth it to go to 13" and wilwoods or similar? Thanks in advance

For normal street driving.. the stock set up is fine.. unless you are running more power or handling. I have never faded the brakes in my Tib, even when up in the mountains. I am not sure though what brakes to go with. I would like to find something lighter than the Stock XG brakes...

I think the Tibs brakes suck. Recently I've been driving around in the country backroads and stopping from 130-0 is a biiiitttch!!!
