Changing Headlight 2000 tiburon

ok, maybe I'm a total moron, but I CANNOT figure out how to change my headlight. You would think it would be so simple, but i'm completly stumped on how to get the old light out. Also, the guy at the parts store sold me bulb (the christmas bulb looking one) but it looks like its a regular light bulb (like a spotlight) help!! ahh! :-D

first u have to remove your bumper then u can take ur light out...........

what the heck I searched webtech for like 20 mins and I cound't find ducumentation on it... grr! ty tho

has anyone ever done this.... is it easy to pull off the plastic cover over the turn signal light? I'm trying but it doesn't seem to budge and I don't want to break it.... :-D

make sure you are turning it the right way, it will come off. Inside there is a spring clip that holds the bulb in place, push on the spring clip and pull it to the side. remove the plug and light. Unplug the light, plug new one in, carefull not to touch the bulb with your fingers, (hold it by the metal base) make sure that the new bulb goes in exactly the way the old one came out, there is a little square at the top of the metal housing that lines up with the headlight surround. Place bulb back in and move the spring clip over to secure it.
The first time I changed my headlights I was frustrated with the metal clips, make sure you have a good light source and do the passenger side first, that will give you a good reference for the drivers side, PITA with battery behind the light.
