any one know how much it would the price range of an auto to a 5 speed??

a swap.

there are a couple of members that have done it on here, hopefully they will respond. i think they spent around 1000 alltogether. it really depends if your going to do the work or not though.

Viper996 is selling a "kit" for $895.

If you were to pay someone to do it, I would guess at least $2000, probable closer to $3000.

i paid a little over 2 grand, but then i changed EVERY single part you possibly could, and didn't use any of the auto parts. shadohh and other members have done it for a hell of a lot less because they spared a lot of parts. there's no benefit to going the way i did..just costs more for the same result dealership quoted me $6000. no other shop would even do it. get the shop manual, a buddy, and do it yourself. it's been done enough times that there's a lot of support out there.

new 2000 tiburon w/auto and package 5: $17,000. parts for auto to manual swap: $2500. spending 6 days under your car with your best friend doing what everyone told you you couldn't do: priceless.
