Default Spiral Max

Has anyone heard of SpiralMax? It claims that you gain some HP out of it. So, does anyone have one?

I did a post on that a while ago except it was for the Tornado Air management. Spiral max is just a rip off of the original design. Anyway it works great, it's defently worth the money. There is a noticable difference in acceleration and low end power right after installing it. I think Tornado's address is www.tornadoair.com

I would be willing to bet that in a blind test, you could not tell when your car had the device in, and when it did not. I am also willing to bet that the device will show NO GAIN of any sort on a dyno.

These type of devices have been proven time and time again in magazines and on TV that they are pure bunk. Worthless crap.

Let's just give it the benefit of the doubt for a moment.

let's just say it swirls air the way it claims.....

It would have stay perfectly spiraled around the 90 degree rubber elbow.
It would have to split into 2 nice even smaller spirals as the air goes past the TB. And this would ONLY work at Wide Open Throttle (WOT). Aany anythinge less than about 75% the throttle plate would block/cancel any "spiraled" air.

But assuming it splits past the TB...it now has to split into 4 seperate even spirals of air to head down each intake runner. It has to keep that spiral through a 90 right angle turn to get to the intake runner, then keep that spiral through the 180 degree intake runner tract.

It would then have still KEEP that spiral as it get's hit bay a 44PSI get of automized gas...

It would then have still KEEP THAT SPIRAL past the narrow ass stock valve opening, and enter the combustion chamber.

Do you REALLY think it does all that. Do you STILL want to insist that a piece of bent up metal is worth $60 to $120 of my hard earned money, contrary to logic and numerious automotive experts?

No way no how does this thing work.

1) You can take Randoms explanion and that will totoaly let you know those are bunk.

2) You need to allow more flow into your intake not shove something in there that will only take up space.

You can put these with all those electric superchargers. and you will hhave one big pile of crap.
