Default seat belt recall????

just wondering if the rd2 ever had a seat belt recall... cause i notice that a lot of times it wont give even if i move up slowly. it gets stuck, and i thought i read somewherre that it did have a recall. its reall annoying when i park, cause it locks me in the seat.

mine does that too.. pisses me off especially when i go to lean forward to check if any cars are coming...

only recall i remember is the seatbelt twisting though... i would like to have mine fixed if there is a recall on it locking up though

I know there was a recall for the Rd1.. it involved the twisting thing.. they put a sleeve over the belt to help guide through the metal loop. I did not bring my car in for it.. I do not like halfarsed measures like that and I do not have a problem with occasionally having to untwist the belt.

all you need to do is pry as carefully and as best you can the plastic panel around the seatbelt. pry it at the door jam. stick your fingers in there and untwist the belt.
if you do it right, like I did:, you'll probably never have to again.

yes there was a recall for the rd2 tibs. take it to your local dealer, took em 45 mins to do mine, they had the parts in stock.

how about a limp seatbelt umm thingy? the thing with the red button where you lock the seatbelt into

so far all of the RD1s I've looked at have the limp seatbelt thing. Must be a problem with the RD1 tibs....

i dunno, i have read about the seatbelt issues but when i was using them i never had any problems with mine aranoid:
