Default some advice please

I recently purchased a 99 tiburon in pretty good shape, now comes the fun part: making it go a little faster. I need some advice on parts selection I want to go turbo but i also need to know what other parts/modifcations have to be done to be able to get to around 250 -300 hp. Any help or advice at all would be extremly appriciated, thanks.
PS if you own a tiburon that is already where I want to get mine, please email me @ jasonahorner@hotmail.com what modifications you have already done, thanks

First off, welcome to the site! I have a 98 tib fx and love it. They've helped me here a lot! Since you're a newbie I'll spare you the ridicule. Up on the top right of your screen is a link that says "Search" Learn to LOVE it. It'll help you save us non-rookies time. Here are some topics that might help you a bit. Also track down Random. He's a god in the ways of Hyundai. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

P.S. Also get AIM www.aim.com alot of us are on there. We usually chat at night.

Here is the stuff that'll help you.:

http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/snitz/topic.asp?a=&t=4313
http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/snitz/topic.asp?a=&t=4250

That should get you started and give you a good idea of what to find here. The first topic also has some great links that you can follow for aftermarket parts. Enjoy the first gen! They're fun.

Hey, thanks a lot, sorry about now really looking too hard to begin with. Sorry for any repeat questions, just a little excited I guess.
